It’s been reported that Milwaukees Best Light recently signed Phil Helmuth to promote its beer.  “The Poker Brat”, as he’s known, will appear on over 12 million cans touting his infamous phrases like, “I can dodge bullets, baby” and “If it weren’t for luck I’d win ‘em all”.  

Phil, I’ve got news for ya… if it weren’t for luck, you’d still be living in your mom’s basement selling Cutco knives to the neighbors.

From a marketing standpoint I understand the poker angle but Phil Helmuth?  The guy is a whiny mammas boy who should be the poster child for tourism brochures, not beer!  Seriously, who in their right mind thought it was a good idea to go from this:

Stick to the poker tables Phil and leave the beer selling to the college girls.
