Faber vs. Pulver

BUY MANTUARY GEAR!

Since your wife will inevitably be gathering up the other hens in the neighborhood for a night out this weekend to drink Cosmopolitans and see the most unanticipated movie of the summer from this Man’s perspective, what better way to say “I Love You” than by encouraging her to do just that this Sunday night, June 1st, around 9:00pm? Why? Because that’s when VS. airs one of the most anticipated fights in MMA this year – for free (assuming you’re lucky enough to have it in your cable line up)! The current WEC Featherweight Champion Urijah “California Kid” Faber takes on the former UFC Lightweight Champion Jens “Lil’ Evil” Pulver in a match for the ages. Jens returns to 145 lbs., a weight at which he’s never been beaten, to defend his legacy against Urijah, the #1 ranked featherweight in the world. It all goes down at Arco Arena in the Kid’s hometown of Sacramento, California. Will the wicked left hand of Jens be enough to overcome Urijah’s infamous guillotine? Either way, no one believes this one’s going to go the full 5 rounds. So get the guys together this Sunday night, smoke some cheap cigars, drink some expensive whiskey, watch the glorious blood bath unfold and…

Be A Man.

- The Founding Father

VS. is currently airing a great preview multiple times between now and Sunday, so make sure to set your Tivo accordingly.

  1. Well if you pretty much forget about the first half, yes Spain deserved to win this match, however it was extremely difficult to keep my eyes open in the First Half. I think I almost fell asleep 3 times. I think it became very obvious that Germany was extremely nervous in the first half and they pretty much ducked back into the shell from which Germany usually plays out, very defensive and playing mainly on their own half. It also became very obvious who really was the driving force of this German Team, Muller. His miss was felt by Germany big time. I am happy that we will be crowning a new World Champion in 2010 that has never won it before. I am rooting for Holland and I am confident they can take it, if not hey second place isn’t so bad as long as you played your hearts out :-)

  2. Cool blog! I dont think Ive seen all the angles of this subject the way youve cleared them out. Youre a true star, a rock star man. Youve got so much to say and have a lot of knowledge about the subject that I think you should just teach a class about it…HaHa!
