With the training help of Bas Rutten, Kimbo recently honed his skills for MMA, joined EliteXC (the red headed step child of the UFC) and had a 3-0 record going into this weekend… but has he fought anyone noteworthy?
Meet Seth “The Silverback” Petruzelli. He’s a 28 year old kick boxer who’s trying to make a name for himself in MMA. Petruzelli got called up to fight Kimbo after Ken Shamrock had to back out. Just hours before the fight, Shamrock was deemed unfit to fight after receiving a cut above his left eye. In any event, Petruzelli was more than excited about this opportunity.
