History In The Making
Holy Shit! Was anyone watching TV last night?
I saw an historic event like no other. Never before have I seen two sides battle it out with such unyielding heart, passion and pride. I found myself glued to the TV as I did not want to miss a second of the drama unfold. As you (should) know, it was a highly anticipated match-up for quite some time and finally the world was presented a clear victor. Over the course of their battle, the lead went back and forth yet ultimately the better side came out on top… and not without some drama. With time running out, victory for the underdog may have seemed out of reach… yet their fearless leader, backed by thousands and thousands of supporters kept plugging away until the very last second when they ultimately pulled ahead and came out victorious. Like so many epic battles, the losers, as bitter as they may have felt, were able to hold their heads high given the great effort they put forth; and the winners were able to bask in the glory as thousands and thousands of fans flooded a field to give them praise.
In the end, both sides can be considered champions in their own right… really, it could have been anyone’s game. But as we all know, there can only be one victor in a match-up like this… and last night belonged to Texas Tech as they pulled out a 39-33 victory with less than 2 minutes left over #1 ranked Texas. Yes, unfortunately I missed the game on Saturday because I took the wife out for dinner. Sunday morning, my friends were quick to tell me I had missed what was one of the greatest college football games in history. Thank goodness for ESPN Classics! They replayed this epic battle last night and I was not going to miss it a second time… only in America can a Man have such opportunity… we really do live in the greatest country in the world!
Be A Man.

Yeh I saw that, well unfortunately sometimes the better, more qualified and experienced, don’t always come out victorious!
