As I continue to mourn the loss of my dog, I continue to fill the void with massive aquisitions of BBQ “stuff”. Last week it was 1200 lbs of lump charcoal, this week its 56 lbs of Bryons Butt Rub.
Clearly, I have a BBQ itch like no other but believe it or not, its still just a hobby. While I love to Q, I have yet to take the plunge to insure myself, cater events and try and make some money. Instead, I work under the umbrella of many non-profits and donate my time and services to cook for just about any good cause thats out there. With 56 lbs of BBQ rub now sitting in “inventory” I should be able to raise some pretty nice bank for worthy causes.
I went with Byrons for a few reasons. When cooking for the masses, making your own rub gets old really quick! I’ve found Byrons to be an excellent quality rub, very popular with the average pallet out there and when buying in bulk, you simply cant beat the price! Pick some up for yourself and you’ll see its the perfect pork rub when your just not in the mood to make your own.
