This also just in: why does anyone give a shit? I cant help but chuckle at all the Eagles lovers and haters out there who are all twisted about this. Vick is a conviceted felon. He is not the first in the NFL, certainly not the last. I find it terribly ironic that “fans” will be bitching about this as they head to Dicks to pick up their $85 jersey and send in a mortgage payment as a down payment for their season tickets. I’ve said it once, i’ll say it a million times: F*ck the NFL! I’ve never supported them, and with this most recent chain of events, never will. My money can be spent on much better things… like mag wheels.
Seriously, for the cost of spending a day at The Link to watch a bunch of thugs I can buy a case of ribs, couple cases of micro-brews, tow the smoker to some parking lot and spend the day tailgating at a college game where the players still have some heart. Hell, I may even have some money left over to make it rain like Pacman jones… freak’n idiots.

Yeh, I am with ya, and love the idiots that say, “but there is nothing like going to the game.” Really? Maybe back in the days of black and white tv’s, cheap tix, ability to get close to players, and no traffic. No you get obnoxious drunks throwing beer on players, fans caring more about wins than players, and 500$ lighter in the wallet, and thats without kids. I will take a PBR, DVR the hit over and over through commercials, and fall asleep in recliner drunk during the 4th qrt 2:00 warning. Come over if ya want.
Unfortunately this is the same story with most pro leagues. Look at the NHL and MLB for example. A bunch of over-payed millionaires who do nothing but whine, do drugs and ask for more money. I’d much rather spend $15 for a ticket to a game where the players are actually playing because they love the game, than pay $100 for a “cheap seat” at a game where the players don’t give a damn.
